Super speciality Paediatric hospital and post graduate teaching institute is a one of its kind, dedicated all children hospital, with Paediatric surgery as one of the important departments of the hospital. Department has faculty specialized in operating children with vast varieties of ailments. The department aims to provide, state-of-the-art health care to the paediatric surgical patients of up to 18 years of age

At present the department is having 20 beds functional which will be increased to 30 soon. There is a dedicated high dependency unit and four bedded neonatal surgical ICU.
Department has various dedicated evening specialty clinics for streamlining of patients and better care. Patients are seen in these specialty clinics on appointment basis after getting registered in general OPD.
