Introduction

With the rise in superspeciality medical care, orthopaedics has not remained untouched with this surge. The field has brought out Joint Replacement Surgeons, Spinal Surgeons, and Sports Injury Specialists. Pediatric Orthopaedics is also a sub-speciality of Orthopaedics dealing exclusively with musculoskeletal issues of a growing child. The Department of Pediatric Orthopaedics was established in 2015 as a part of Superspeciality Pediatric Hospital & Postgraduate Teaching Institute by the Govt of Uttar Pradesh in the heart of Noida to fill the lacuna of affordable excellence in health care of Children.

Vision:

The vision of the department is –
